Wrong again sir. It's a fact that Sonata Arctica cares little about their image, and I fail to see this "cheesyness".AsModEe said:and btw, for those who felt insulted, when I'm saying "gay" in this particular case, I mean "extremely cheesy and according more importance to the projected image than to the music itself"

I also can enjoy listening to power metal cds, like old rhapsody albums for example, they're pretty fast and entertaining. As long as you don't read the lyrics you're fine. Rage is also pretty cool.NoLordy said:I dunno, I always felt it was a sense of humor. They're so off the wall I enjoy the show.
Savage Circus is Blind Guardian part 2, and Blind Guardian have 10 times more the image Sonata Arctica does.AsModEe said:Take Savage Circus or Blind Guardian as examples.
bah, I listened to a dozen of songs some years ago and never felt the need to hear more. I can give them another chance though, I'll check if I can get some mp3s or something.En Vind Av Sorg said:Yea you really should try listening to the band sometime, and understanding that most of the bands you listed in this thread take themselves more seriously than Sonata ever will. Tony Keiko is one goofy son of a bitch on and off stage.

All opinion. Personally I dare not to compare, to each his own and to me it depends on mood. Write that down.AsModEe said:Still, BG's music >>>>> SA's music
