Maybe Lamb of God will stop putting out shitty records now?

As reported by MetalSucks.com, citing an article on Novinky.cz, Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe was arrested on charges of manslaughter stemming from a "tragic incident" in Prague at a Lamb of God performance on May 24, 2010, which led to a death.

The article states that Lamb Of God performance scheduled tonight at Club Cafe in Prague was cancelled by the band's management, which identified no specific reason to local promoting agency Obscure.

The band was scheduled to perform with All Shall Perish and Skeletonwitch. Stay tuned for more information on this breaking story.

Kinda curious as to the details.

Laughing like hell at the comments calling for him to be freed or "he should have just avoided the country". Did he do it or not? Let's get that before we start calling for his freedom or whatever.

Wrath grew stale pretty quickly but Resolution and Sacrament are good stuff.

Would like to know some actual details on the charges.

Edit:

According to reports, a fan jumped up on the stage where a tussle ensued in which the fan was injured. The fan later died, reportedly as a result of those injuries. Authorities are claiming that Blythe is responsible for the fan's death.

Sounds like some bullshit.

Good riddance. One LOG listener dead and the shitty singer in prison. Some czech guys on facebook say that he pushed the guy out of stage and he fell on some rod or something. They also say that the fan was fucking drunk.

I don't care for LoG, but that is just crazy. Randy and the band are probably wondering why this shit is happening to them and why they bothered playing in some shit third world country. According to sources the fan got on stage in Randy's face multiple times before he was shoved. Everyone who goes to shows know there is some kind of risk. It's unfortunate the guy ended up dying, but the band seem like a decent bunch of musicians and the singer obviously did not have some intent on killing someone. The entire situation is really fucked up to be honest. I think it is bullshit. If the guy ends up having his life ruined over this.

This. These day's band members are like targets on stage as well. You have random people charging you, repeatedly? You shove them the fuck away. If they land poorly and later on die from related things...then that is unfortunate but damn, how is the fault of the guy who was essentially defending himself?

Shitty singer? You mean the best growler in the business? If the guy fell on the rod it just tells you how fucked up the whole managment was in that event putting rods beneath the stage. And security isnt doing their job right if a drunk guy gets on stage. If that was the case Randy really isnt to blame.

Fucking right, this. So much.

The rod thing was probably a gossip. He just banged his head on the ground or something.

"Under no circumstances was there a fight of any kind involved. This incident deals with a fan that three times during the concert jumped the barricade and rushed Randy during the performance. It is alleged that the third time, security was not able to reach him and that Randy pushed him back into the audience where supposedly he fell and hit his head. Again, until the investigation is concluded this weekend, nothing more will be released, but clarity and the facts needed to be addressed on this one reported point which is totally inaccurate."
