Rant/Rave Thread/Alarm clock BRRIRIINNNNNGNIGNGINGINGNG

Wake up, wake up, it's time to smash the alarm clock!

Lol, but seriously up and at 'em folks, the week's started (even in the USA where we've had a long weekend) and it's time to shake off those hangovers and the like and remember how to talk

So how was everyone's weekend?

Mine was okay, as I said not as much partying as I would've liked but one can't ask for everything.

My biggest rant is with my job and the management at my company. I have a very hard time having to work for people with half of my intelligence and skill level. My time is drawing to a close at my current job as I am at ropes end with those idiots. It just gets tougher and tougher to up and move to a new job as I get older, but this has to be biggest bunch of dipshits I have ever worked for in my 10 year plus career in manufacturing.

Just remember NOT to leave until you have the new job for sure. That way it's less likely they'll change their minds on you... thats always a hazard of job searches now adays.

Most likely I won't leave before I am hired elsewhere sweetie, but I wake up with a bad attitude because of this place of work and I have never been this way before. While I am casually looking for something else currently, it is possible I could just go off like a time bomb and chew off the mgr's ass before that happens because the tension level there is very thick. I may be working every Saturday and every other Sunday soon. Working second shift just 40 hours a week already makes me have no social life and little time to spend with my family, but having to work those hours might draw the line.

Ha ha ha don't feel bad for me sweetie. I thrive in adversity. The harder management gets on me and the other hourly employees, the harder I get on them. They are flat out scared of me. I will either change them, run them off, or they will run me off. Nothing is lost under any of those circumstances as far as my situation with the exception of having to pay for cobra insurance.

I kind of forgot about it until I got on this thread. :erk:

I'm coming down from it though. The worse has already happened, Rainbow broke up 4 years before I was born! But they did have "Stranger in us all" album in 1997 but I had not heard of them yet.

I am proud of you for digging oldschool stuff. We need young musicians to break ahead of the pack with new and original ideas while still bringing an oldschool vibe to their sound. Make me proud dargor !!!

I will. I just got done working solos for two of our songs. When we get a chance we are going to record some stuff and I will post it. We are probably going to be auditioning a singer soon.

BTW, I am probably more old school than new school. I think older bands had a more persistent sound.

You go Dargor !! I listen to more new bands than old, but a good bit of those bands have at leats some sort of an oldschool "vibe" to them. Maiden, Priest, and the mighty Accept are tough to beat.

Hehe, well I use palm-muting and never rap so I think I'm old school but then again I'm very progressive... and weird. :yow:

You want me to write some rap lyrics for you Winter ? J/k I wouldn't know how to. I would like to hear some of your stuff though. I listen to prog, but I don't really write prog stuff. I do use some acoustic and Southern influenced style in my work, so I suppose in that sense it is progressive.
