Stylistically, id say most of their albums are pretty damn similar. If you really don't like Takk... at all, then maybe Sigur Ros arn't for you?

i think that when listening to sigur ros, you must take into account that they are from iceland...their lead singer is gay, and is also deaf in one ear. give it another shot.

thats what i mean...tolerance implies bigotry...you have to truly accept that he is a gay and deaf icelander...then you have to like their music!!!

but really, i agree...their music is very on or off for me. i have to be in the mood for a somewhat difficult and potentially boring listen. i'm not really big into the build up build up build up build up build up climax ambient noise end of song sort of thing. there are always little bits in their music that i really enjoy...but they make me feel like a.d.h.d.ish

yes. hard to beleive all the members were only 17 or so when creating that album. also check out "to the highest bidder"...which i think may be their better album over present for nancy. either way, a quality late 60s proto-progressive band.
