i think it's dumb.
Completely messing. That guitar tone is absolutely killer. oh my word. Mind giving some info about it? and the bass as well. The guitars are sitting so well in the mix, i really dont have any constructive criticism to give you. It's all just compliments!

The bass sounds awesome, but the guitars feel a little bit thin in my opinion though they still sound pretty good. Nice mix, nevertheless.

Guitar is just my shitty Bronze Series Warlock. Stock pickups, feeding right into podfarm. I just mess with the tone until it sounds like it will fit in a mix (comes with experience). bass and nothing but Trilian! Man I love Trilian. I figure it's best for me to use Trilian for anything below Drop B because I have a four string Fender Precision that I feel risky to throw thick ass monster slinkies on it. Also, Trilian pushes low frequencies well.
For this mix, I sidechained the kick and bass to add a pump pushy type deal. instead of altering my guitar a shitload I decided to fit everything else around the guitar this time, thus making it seem more pushy. Although Norris Hitler man <3 is right, the tars are thin, so I am taking a round trip into my stash of tracks, and I will fuck them each to the point, my tars figure it's way out. Fuck I am tired.
