Sounds pretty good to me, but what counts is how they'll sit in a whole mix.

I personally think there's too much room going on. But it's just a preference thing. The levels all sound nice. If this were more of a Rock or Indie type song then I'd go for this much room maybe....but for metal I just feel like you'll be disappointed when you get a full mix. The clarity will hurt. Just my opinion. Mine may always be too dry. Who knows. haha

I was thinking about taking the room, and rolling off a little more (hpf) The room behind the kick is making the kick flubby at the faster parts. May cause inaudible articulations during the breakdowns. (btw this is my bands music, I am the drummer!)
