Rate my first mix in Cubase!

Just switched from logic to cubase a week ago, and after getting everything situated, this is my first mix. Sadly, I don't have bass, and I can't get trilian to produce sound for some reason, so there's no bass in here. Using podfarm for guitars, kick 10, snare 11a mixed with joeys mmi snare.
I have never been able to get a wide/not pumping sound from kick 10, and I'm never 100% happy with my snare, so any tips on that in particular would be appreciated. Thanks!

sounds sweet man, love the actual musical content so much, did you write it all yourself?

i used to have a similar problem with kick 10 myself. in the end i found it was due to me turning the kick up too high to hear some thump and when it hit the master comp it started pumping because of it.

Could give this a try (worked for me, might not work for you) parallel comp your kick and bass together (if you dont already). With a medium wide Q, notch out about 5db in the 200hz area on the kick, then with a wider Q take out a few db of 80-100 hz on the bass. If the kick isnt cutting through enough, try add ing a small high shelf instead of being tempted to turn it up, although a few db on the fader shouldnt hurt!

as far as pumping in general goes, i always stick by the rule (-2db gr on a normal master comp MAX)
