I recorded this for a client.
At the client's request, I tried to be true as much as I could to capture the vibe and feel of the original. Its impossible to do considering its a MONSTER sounding record with a killer drummer but I did the best I could to my ability.

I didn't track this over the original. I tracked it to a click(requested by the client). Just in case you're wondering why some parts seem slower, thats the reason. The original wasn't recorded to a click.
Drums are 100% natural. (Some EQ & compression but no triggering)

Cheers

sounds good!
drums could use more room (not reverb), snare especially.
I think the original is very roomy.
snare and kick could also be snappier, try more compression or transient designer.

Thanks Coronel!
Well.. since its only the drums, I didn't crank up the room mic too much and just used really just a little reverb. Theres actually very little reverb. The room mic is doing the rest. If it had the music with the drums I'd make it more roomy because it would fit better. But because its only the drums, I went for a more drier sound.
