Raw, rough guitar Sound

Hey!
I always ask myself how to get a guitar sound like this :

Its not heavily distorted and it doesn't even sounds like the old Entombed records(they were more fuzzy). So whats the secret behind that sound? Im not sure its the Boss HM2 isnt it?
On some picture I can see they use a Marshall JMP (or somethin) together with a 5150.
Is this THE THING? Using two Amps?
I tried it with my old jcm800, ltd ec400( with emg 81 pu) without any pedals and it wasnt even close haha damn!

sounds like marshall with a tube screamer. maybe some 5150 blended? crank the volume on the marshall fa sho

Well if you like the Entombed/Dismember/Rotten Sound/Grave.... etc sound, then get a boss HM-2 Heavy metal. Crank the lo and hi and set dist pretty much however and you're in the ballpark of that brutal stockholm sound
