RC hype bandwagon bands that actually suck

Primordial is still the best band in metal today (together with D666) and that's a fact.

Usually I try to avoid the RC hype of the week-bands, if they outlive the initial hype I can always go there in half a year or so instead of wasting my oh so precious time right away. Slough Feg is bad, I even got an album to find out. Silly me!

I just never really.. liked them. At their best I suppose I don't mind much, but all the stuff in between kills the flow. This is completely based on Atavism.

Traveler is probably the easiest to get into, but the first album just fucking slays. It's such a great progression from early Iron Maiden.

I'm pretty sure liking Iron Maiden and hating Slough Feg (one of the few bands to really do something unique and awesome with Maiden's blueprint) is enough to qualify someone as an invalid of some sort.
