RC lauded acts with under the radar recent releases

This was a quality listen! Great variation (the ending to the second track reminded me alittle of maudlin, never a bad thing! I also heard some katatonia in one of the middle tracks as well.

That Suldusk though--eh..it's "nice" not sure I would compare that to agalloch--she has a nice voice and there is some contrast but not doing much for me. Some of those comments on the bandcamp page though, wow--hyperbolic much? Definitely see a bit of the 'must comment before anyone else' thing --

So, as it it turns out, I do indeed enjoy the new Daughters release, even if it is kind of like an entire album based on S.O.D.'s What's That Noise.

Swedish black metal. It has been established that not clicking is punishable by flawed knowledge. This band summons elder vibes with much the same skill and relevance as, say, Vemod or Nasheim, who you folks are surely familiar with

Thoroughly enjoying this one.

Need to go throwback and do a haul soon. All these new albums Im digging will be lost to the annals of time if I dont have a physical copy lying around to remind me that they exist.

saw Blood Incantation with Immolation on Thursday.

fucking crushed my skull in

death/black with great dynamics--music able to breath with a high degree of melody amidst the chaotic horror. This band actually released two albums in 2018 (which is crazy--I have not checked out the first)

Got this in the mail today. Beautiful digi. Stoked to hear it.

This is pretty good. I really like I, Voidhanger releases. Granted, some of their stuff is beyond my ears, but when they nail it, they really nail it (SEE Spectral Lore, Midnight Odyssey, etc)

who remembers Deviser? They were I guess one of the least exposed of the 90's hellenic BM scene (actually they exist since 1989!) though they produced some pretty damn cool atmospheric/meloriff stuff on Unspeakable Cults (1995). I recently discovered that they're still in da game (Greek bands never stop) and released an EP in 2019 which is actually good and boasts a cover artwork worthy of the glory days of Napalm Records' evil boobs period. Check this out.
