RC-Tube to Full VCC $99 48-hour upgrade sale?

Been playin around with VCC on some mixes. It is very subtle unless you crank the gain a bit, but it really helps bring your whole mix together. I can still barely tell a difference with RC-Tube on or off, the other 4 models in VCC seem to do much more.

Anyone have issues with it being a resource hog, though? I've got a very small project open right now - 6 tracks (2 bass, drum MIDI, 2 rhythm guitar and 1 lead), with VCC on every channel and the master and I'm getting lots of audio cracking. I haven't checked to see how much memory it's actually taking up, but I have to keep hitting stop and then play again when listening back, otherwise the cracking builds up and sounds like my mix is distorting like mad (which it isn't, I rendered the file and they're not there). I'm running an AMD Athlon Quad Core with 4GB of RAM on Reaper x64 and I've never had this happen with so little tracks and plugins loaded :(

indeed, vcc, and also rc tube takes lots of resources on my computer too (Q6600 quad core, 4gb ram), but i like how rc tube glues everything together and adds a certain vibe too it

you dont need an ilok or rc tube (yet) to buy it, just an ilok account. you can transfer licences to your ilok when you get it. i had to do this last december for a sale on trigger, and am doing it again since i dont have an ilok 2

ilok2 required to use it, not required to buy it. you can buy the licence, then get an ilok2 whenever you can.

I'm not going to buy it until I know it works on my system, AND I like it.
I've already spent $70 for a 'demo' of VCC that hasn't arrived yet. I have an iLok2 already coming. I've been waiting over two weeks already.

fuck

I can't afford to upgrade anyway but I'm pissed off because the discount expires before the prerequisite product is delivered.

I wouldn't really say it's a demo, it's more like... VCC EX, like Trigger EX and SSD EX.
