Re-Mixed one our old members bands songs today.....

only things i can think of: guitars maybe a little bit weak/flat? the kick is pretty sub heavy....almost too much?

Vocals are loud as fuck edit: at least that was my first impression...seems I got used to it now haha
Guitars also sound quite "narrow" for some reason...how did you pan them?
Drums work, although I'd take some high end from the kick to remove some "splat"
Overall you can get this to work pretty good with some small adjustments imo

ah the 75s could be it...maybe lower them in volume or pan them harder, if you want.
when I mix quadtracked stuff I never go lower then 85 for the 2nd pair I think
for me it makes it sound smaller rather then bigger when the 2nd pair isnt wide enough panned

It's better ;)

The mix has a weak spot in the lower area IMO .. 1dB boost in the 55Hz area and 1-2dB around 150Hz will please me well :P

only thing that stands out a little bit too much (for me) are the crash/splash whatever beginning at 1:20 till 1:40, maybe a little too harsh? but fuck man, mix sounds a lot better to me.
