Readers' poll 2006 Terrorizer Magazine

Bought the Terrorizer mag the other day and read that Mikael Åkerfeldt has been selected at no. 1 in the best vocalist category, he is the no. 2 musician (right after Herman Li - Dragonforce) and comes in at no. 2 in the personality of the year category (after Satyr - Satyricon)
Best band/artist category - Opeth is no.4 (after Dragonforce, Akercocke and Lacuna Coil).
Best live act - Opeth is no. 3 (after Dragonforce and Emperor).

Akercocke is from England (so is Dragonforce), which would explain their good showing in a magazine also from England.

Neither Opeth or Akercocke recorded anything this year, so it's somewhat lame that they ranked on these polls.
