How about a tour with more than 5 dates??? And maybe a free T-shirt to the first 50 people or something. I mean they need to make up for this fiasco! I wouldn't hold my breath for the March tour...at least not until their own website confirms it. Yeah right.

And just where did you heare that they will bring the eagle???

I will believe that they are here when I hear the opening chords...

I will NEVER fly anywhere to see them again...I will never BOOK another hotel room....

I have lost respect!

I don't think I am gonna be given my money back for the ticket to the Allentown show. A t-shirt and a pass to meet the band in March would repair the offense.

Actually,i was just kidding.I kinda doubt they'll come. Its almost time they get back into the studio and put Lionheart behind them. They may schedule shows, then cancel because of producer availability.Saxon has said they are writing material,it may be in their best interest to move on and forget America until next album,or just forget America period.

Maybe an idea? Why don't you USA Saxon-fans lay some contacts? I see that these last 2 days a lot of people read this stuff about cancelling. It still gives me vomit-feeling..You as fans are the best managers in the world for a great band like Saxon. The musicians are not to blame..For example put a topic on this board, where you give the e-mail adress of a contactperson (reliable one of course).and ask which people wanne go to a Saxon-concert. Choose a location and when you have a hundred fans in a certain area..and then maybe in 20 places you as groupe can say: Hey here we are! !!! Come to us!!!!, make a schedule and then let the band itself solve that visa-isue. Then you know that there is interest for a band...I think you USA people are talented enough to organize such things...

The last time they played Toronto it was at Rockandroll Heaven if anyone can remember. It must have been late 80's. I am going to look into how much cash they need to play in Toronto. How much do you think they ask for when they play? I think we could get 500 people to see them at the Opera House. With the right promotion maybe more.

all the band has to do is finally get their their paperwork in order (visa's) contact Noel Peters at Inertia entertainment and they will easily sell out the opera house, as many metal bands have done already.

as far as montreal?? thats N. America's metal capital. They'd be well suited to the medley about a 1200 capacity club. and a good venue with cool staff (thanks dude, for helping me out when i showed up to Helloween without my ticket, hehe)

Did you charge it through TicketMaster?

I had the charge removed from my CC for both the BB King show in NYC & the PA show minus the surcharges though. I avoided TM all together by driving to DD's and paying cash. I just called the venue up and I gave them my ticket number and they're sending me a money order in the mail OR I could have driven over and they would have paid me right there.

About being ready for March 06?

FUCK YEAH! I hope they do 4 shows this time around and I'll be at all of them :kickass:

I bought the ticket for the Allentown show through TM, but my concern is that I never received any notice about the show being cancelled or a refund being made. It is (fortunately) the first time that a show has been cancelled after buying a ticket(s) for it thru TM so maybe I am being too impatient.

I bought the tickets for the DD's show at the venue, as I previously said.

I haven't been too affected by the whole story, except for the logical disappointment so in March I will be ready for Saxon if everything goes well for them!

I knew I knew somebody here. My brother and I have seen most of the metal shows he puts on. Its good to see that he is bringing over all the euro metal bands. He said he is bringing Gamma Ray in 06. I will talk to him about Saxon at the Kamelot gig. WIll you be there?

Rockandrollsteve
