Hey guys, here i go again :)

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7261693/Exp%20mix.mp3

This is one of my band's EP songs! Drumkit is a Tama Starclassic bubinga
-Audix D6 on the kick [no front mic]
-MD441 on those toms
-Beyer and Sm57 blend on the Snare
-couple of neumann for the OHs
-80's Kramer Bass, Gibson LP '57.

Used some cool IRs for the guitar tone, i hope it's ok on your ears! =D

Let me know any of your opinions!
thanks a lot! :headbang:

UPDATE: After a few comments and fix ups http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7261693/Master%20IV.mp3 :D

Liking the snare. Ride seems really loud though. And you can hear way too much stick-tip 'pingyness' to the ride, for my tastes. How high were your overheads??

Well, i placed them (2 mics) almost 1,2m above his cymbals. But, i've got to agree with you, there's also lots of hihat on them OHs.

how could i fix that ride? i guess i could automate it right?

Cool snare, but OH don't sound too great tbh....
Also the HiHat is way too loud as mentioned...
Kick could come up, guitars could use some more meat
Overall the mix has a lot of potential!

So HERE i go again!

I've got say i was totally abusing on the channel compression. Also over used the drum rev.
So i let everything breathe lot more, and yeah you can tell now :D
It's getting better! You can actually hear what the drummer is playing now, i think the kick is bit too hard!
Controlled the Hihat, Automating every hit on the OHs!! DAmn!
Applied a soft multiband comp on the drum bus, and tamed a little bit more the bass (fingered).

I'm way too n00b to saturate the drums still :( i've got this "Reel Tape Saturation"
I tried it, but no way man. What else can i use? I'm on a Mac.

Thanks for your opinions! :D
