REAL epic as fuck songs.

that first riff is fucking demon... Reminds me a lot of Dysrhythmia (I remember you posting on that thread I posted). I'm not a massive fan of the vocals at the moment but I'm sure it will grow on me. That album cover is pure genius. Imagine any band these days having that as their artwork?! Haha. The song just ended in the most brutal fashion. I'm down with that dude!

It depends on what meaning do you consider for "epic". Mine seem to be very diferent.

You will burn in hell for saying "disgusting" and "cheese" when talking about the epicness of the legendary BATHORY.:heh:
 
haha! Just my opinion though dude. I just can't get over how much it relies on a gimmick. I guess its fun but it doesn't excite me musically enough to appreciate.
 
yeah AEL just try and ignore the vocals imo haha.
they work for it perfectly but yeah they're pretty awful.

and yeah gorguts are pretty spastic dude, way more than dysrhythmia but i can understand you making the connection for sure.

All I can see is some polite disagreement mainly through tactful comments and the posting of videos; some of which I've never seen/heard but really like (tool, gorguts, immortal technique) and others I think are a tad lame (Rhapsody).

I'm just really into those sort of riffs at the moment dude, they get me going! Massively down with purposeful prog - not so much virtuoso noodling, more 'the bigger picture' sort of prog where you go on a full on fucking journey. Post more shit like that if you have it! :kickass:
