The new Kalmah album could never be nu-metal that would be too drastic of a change to happen in one album. If they were going in that direction we would TELL from this album. Only glimses.

I wish that everyone would quit referring to CoB whenever they describe kalmah. Kalmah is NOTHING like cob, Alexi is good and all, but Antti has made some of the best riffs I have ever heard, kalmah has definitely shown their style, and it is of their own...

I can see why people might mention Kalmah and Bodom in the same breath, but they styles are distinctly different if you are a proper fan of either. I personally prefer the Kalmah vocals and enjoy their music a tad more these days than Bodom's. I can't wait for this new album, and while AYDY? is hardly an awful album, i expect new Kalmah to blow it apart.

I agree. Kalmah's music has been much more enjoyable than CoB's lately. I really do look forward to the new album because it will make me feel much better as a Finnish metal fan than I do right now with AYDY.

Although I like Kalmah's vocals better than CoB's... I like Norther's better than Kalmah's....

Don't tell your friends in Norther but I'm not a fan of Solution 7. I don't really like the clean vocals.

Then again, I'm only one man so I'm sure my opinions don't matter to them!

Because I am extremely dis-satisfied with the album. I think it was a complete lackluster attempt at what Bodom should never be.

I'm not comparing them to the new albums. Just comparing the bands in general of how I feel about them.
