Reamp box

What would be the difference between an active and a passive reamp box?

I've narrowed down choices between the Radial X-amp (active) and Radial ProRMP (passive). For the price (200$ vs 100$), is it worth to buy the X-amp or does the ProRMP will do the job just fine? Other suggestions within that price range?

Get the Cuniberti reamp V2.

ProRMP will do the job, Cuniberti reamp V2 (or LittleLabs Red Eye) will do the job better.

Cuniberti ReAmp V2 is on that price range. It´s passive.
