I have a very detailed session tonight reamping through a Splawn Quickrod, Voodoo modded Triple Rec, and a 1970's Plexi. Using multiple mics, it'll get crazy with phase so I'm thinking....what if I put a small bit of a 1k tone after each reamp so it's super easy to phase align in case of problems? Will this even work? Like, paste a tone on the actual track I"m reamping at the end. I'd assume even with a lead channel there would still be a clear sine wave. Maybe I'm crazy...ideas? Tracking on an SSL4048G+ so I reaally want it done right.

What about phase-aligning multiple mics on one take, not aligning different takes to each other and the rest of tracks?
For that, maybe it's better to send white noise instead of 1k tone?
