And this is probably too easy to fix, but I have no idea what to do.

Every time I try to render a project in Reaper as a .wav, .mp3, ect., it decides to give me a default sample rate of 16000. -_-

Any way to fix this so it says a sample rate of 44100 all the time?

Do you use a default project template? If so, you probably accidentally changed that setting in the render dialog before saving or something.

If you don't use a default project template, just create a new empty project, open the Render dialog, change it to your liking, hit Render and just render a blank dogshit worthless file so it stores the settings, then save that project as a template and set Reaper to use that template by default.

The Render settings are stored per project, so as long as every project starts from a template (even if it is totally blank) that contains the render settings you want, you should be good! You will still have to change it manually for any old projects created previously though, at least until performing one render with the correct settings and saving.
