I actually like their classic theme. It's what I've used since the first edition and I like it. I actually auditioned a good few different themes during the week when I finally upgraded to the latest version and I could not find another theme that I liked. The API one in particular was terrible, hurt my eyes with all the dark black, blue and greys.

I'll be following this thread closely to see if there's a theme everyone else likes to use

I didnt see one good custom design for reaper which isnt looking like barbies dollhouse. Would wish one design would come up with sth clear like cubase.

I really liked this one on reaper 3, daily duty, comfortable on the eyes for long periods!

Now I'm using default on reaper 4.

Tried a few but they all seemed cheap and 'plastic-y' looking. and everything seemed to be too cluttered together.

Came to this thread to look for new Reaper themes.
Saw Sloan's post about ReBorn theme.
Google and download ReBorn theme.
I don't think I'll need to look for more themes anytime soon.

I put this one together for v4 and it's what I have been using forever now... Just a mashup of the V3 and V4 themes really, but turned to grey. It isn't the sexiest theme but it's really easy to see the states of all of your buttons and faders without looking too hard, which makes it efficient and easy to use and that's what matters most to me.

Thanks for posting, Adam. I tried to load the theme, and it looks nothing like your screenshot. What loaded looks almost identical to the Classic_4.x ugly white theme. I don't have the nifty toolbar of buttons along the top either...

Hey man, yeah the toolbars won't be included, Reaper just keeps whatever custom toolbars you have set up yourself. I can export the toolbar separately if someone wanted it, you need my custom actions and stuff from the SWS extensions though because a lot of the toolbar buttons are assigned to those actions.

Regarding the "Classic" thing, it is likely that you have to change this preference:
