Reaper Users: New WT Theme

I would really, REALLY like a mid-resolution version of this one. :O

I'm thinking about setting up dual monitors on my 13inch mbp which is 1280x800 native. Will it work fine if i connect it to 1920x1080 monitors or ill be stuck with the mbp's resolution??

hope someone can clarify this for me

You can set displays to different resolutions on OS X. I am running my iMac at 2560x1440 and I have a 42" HDTV that I use sometimes as a 2nd display, but it is at 1920x1080.

So basically if i hook up a 1920x1080 monitor on my 13inch mbp and use this theme i wont get alignment issues and fucked up buttons all over the place as i would if i were to use my laptop??

:worship:
Are any of you with single monitors having success? Mine came out a bit out of control.

Yeah but having to switch between mixer-main window takes more time, great looking but definitely better with dual monitors. I showed my friend who uses reaper and has his gigantic TV set up to do dual monitors and it looked incredible on that. jealous.

holy FUCK. absolutely GORGEOUS.

i wish cubendo looked similar to this. I love the old school tape transport type buttons and more "LFAC" look... WOW.

definitely check out the "layouts" if you haven't already. gorgeous.

options -> layouts -> ...

i'm working on a 20" screen, 1680x1050. this theme is designed for two monitors, but if you only have one with resolution close to mine - try docking your mixer on the left and choose one of the "mixer panel" layouts with "strip" in them. I also set the "master mixer panel" to be "Dead Ringer Colonial". It'll save space too. finally, i shrunk my track panel down pretty small so i just see all the controls like save, grid, etc at the top. with all that, it's pretty workable for me until I can get a second monitor.

Looks OK in 2048x1152 on 23 inch screen 1 meter from my eyes.
But i'll go back to default as i don't need my work space to look that good.

Try it and see? You will have to use the 1920x1080 display as the main screen, this theme is intended for high resolutions, I wouldn't expect the 13" MBP screen to be of any use with it. I don't use Reaper, and I didn't try this theme on the HDTV I mentioned, I was merely saying that you can have two displays at different resolutions for the same machine, if you wanted to try it. I did try this theme on my iMac display (27" 2560x1440) and it looks amazing, though. Too bad I can't fucking stand Reaper.

I cant try it ATM. Si if i got it right, the TCP is made of one block basically so you cannot resize it ? Hence why you have to toggle between seeing the mixer or not ?

Is it actually functional ? I really, really dig the Tracking/editing window. It's on par with the smoothness of PT's or StudioOnes's from an eye-candy perspective.

Hey thanks mate! appreciated
Was asking those questions cuz im planning on buying two external monitors for my mbp so i wanted to be sure before buying. In fact the mbp will be useless with this theme. That sums it up pretty well, thanks!

Too bad you can't stand reaper though. For me i love the workflow and all the customization it offers. I don't plan on moving to any other DAW soon. PT user i guess? :p

EDIT : Just saw cubase in your sig lol
