THIS WEEK ON YOUR CLASSIC METAL SHOW: The biggest metal story of the last decade, without a doubt, was the tragic murder of Pantera / Damageplan guitar hero Dimebag Darrell. It was a tragic loss. Now, after a year of painstaking loss, Pantera/Damageplan drummer Vinnie Paul has decided to honor his brother and bandmate by releasing a project that Paul, Dimebag, Rex Brown and country legend David Allen Coe recorded for fun, called Rebel Meets Rebel. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for Rebel Meets Rebel. Vinnie Paul has indicated to us that he will check in with THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW as well to talk about his late brother, Rebel Meets Rebel, and anything else that comes up. Additionally, Tim "Ripper" Owens former band, Winter's Bane, has returned with a brand new album called REDIVIVUS. We'll be bringing that a new music listening party for it, as well as having Winter's Bane guitarist Lou St. Paul on the show to talk about the band - past and present.
