recent acclaimed bands that got commercial success

Can anybody help me, by listing bands that received critical acclaim & also received commercial success as well?

I'm not that into Metal (yet), so the only band that I can think of is Mastodon.

Oh, I suppose I'm talking about bands in North America. Since there's an incredible amount of acclaimed metal bands in Europe that received mainstream success

Where as mastodon is pretty acclaimed. Looking for those kind of bands recently, that managed to achieve commercial success

dream theater has, although they've been making albums since the mid 90s

I'm just trying to figure out what it takes to make good metal and have it be commercially successful as well.

I think the closest band that comes to mind is Ghost, but they are from Sweden. Weird rock/metal that hipsters like and it gets a lot of good reviews AND commercial attention all over the globe, yet they released debut album few years ago.

I don't know, they're pretty big in the Andromeda Galaxy I hear.
