Recommend me an Overdrive pedal!

keep in mine the TS7/TS10 ibanez series had cheap cases and jacks and are not durable. In the studio its ok but for gigging you will certainly run into issues with durability.

BTW the TS7 is exactly the TS9 circuit to my knowledge and the TS10 is exactly like the maxon OD808 circuit. So if you can score a TS10 for cheap its like getting a discount on at OD808. The difference is the TS10 has that cheap plastic case and shitty jacks.

You gotta try 'em out and see what you dig the best there's no rules. What amp are you using? Judging from many clips on this forum certain pedals work better/worse depending on the amps.

A 5150/6505 really likes the OD808's and OD820's from clips I've heard. I'm using an early 90's TS9 with my 5150 and it suits my needs pretty well. But id love to comp it with the OD808.

I have an ENG Fireball and an ADA MP-1. I know the ENGL isn't the most popular amp around these parts but it's all I can afford at the moment.

^ IIRC ENGL amps are known to not like tubescreamers in front of them so much. Don't know if that is also the case for the Fireball, but you might want to look into that first.

*Most ENGL Amps*

Most ENGL's like the Savage, Fireball, Powerball, etc all pretty much have the boosted mid thing like they have a built in boost, and sound better without them..
