I listen to all different kinds of death metal, but my favorites are the more 'thrash/prog influenced' bands like Death and Atheist.

Specifically like Death - Symbolic and Atheist - Unquestionable Presence.

Any other quality stuff out there like this I'm missing? (I like their other albums too but those are my favorites)

I also prefer their mid-ranged or high pitched harsh vocal style. Not as much into really low growls.

Scenery, from the Czech Republic, is basically Unquestionable Presence with even more thrash influence on their first album. The first Hieronymus Bosch album is often considered tech-death and is very thrashy (to me it's basically No More Color with gutturals (unfortunately the weakest link of the album)). Their later stuff is more like a really progressive 90s Death, though, and while the vocals are still a little on the deeper side, they're at least decent. Acid Death is pretty melodic and thrashy too.

EDIT: Oh, and the first two Nocturnus albums should be obvious, but just in case...

Might as well mention Gory Blister, who are always mentioned in discussions on 90s Death. Not a fan personally, but probably what you're looking for as well.

Believer - Dimensions (1993)

If you like stuff like Atheist, Cynic, Pestilence, etc. this should be right up your alley.
