What in your opinion are the essential rock albums of the 2000's? For example I'm really into the new Billy Talent album, I expected it to be some emo shit before even hearing them, but they rock! There must be a lot of good stuff I'm missing!

I´ve heard a bit of Billy Talent on Myspace now and I guess that you may like Three Days Grace and Papa Roach. If you used to like some Bad Religion, Rise Against is pretty cool.

+1 to Rise Against. I love me some melodic hardcore. Also check out some of the post hardcore bands, I love that stuff, sometimes more than metal some days.

I googled Underoath, and saw the words "Christian" and "metalcore" so I think I'll pass
