Domine - 'Emperor of the Black Runes' & 'Stormbringer Ruler'

Maiden influenced - 'Seventh Son' & Powerslave' era mostly.
Powerful, epic, classic kick ass heavy metal. (From Italy - Hey, nobody's pefrect :heh:)

other thrash:

Sacred Reich
D.R.I. (Crossover album and after it)
Nuclear Assault
Exodus
Slayer (debut album up to Divine Intervention)

Seminal Thrash/Crossover:

Scatterbrain/Ludichrist
Crumbsuckers
D.R.I. (Crossover album and before it)

I heard Fifth Angel is starting up again, with the (former) vocalist of Heir Apparent !

I'll keep an open ear, but Ted Pilot helped make that band unique (the same way Mathias Blad does for Falconer). It might be a decent band without him, but it was the Pilot/Byrd combo that made FA special.

More classic oriented stuff:

Onward (USA)
Crescent Shield (USA)
Hammerhawk (NL)
Hellhound (JPN)

Fifth Angel with James Byrd or without????

Even if that combo had been able to re-unite, the magic probably would've only translated to their live appearances. I seriously doubt they could ever make another studio album on par with with original Fifth Angel. That said, I'd sure would've liked to hear them try!

Jeez, wheres the love for Omen and J.D. Kimball(R.I.P.)? If Hawk was around Im sure he would vouch for them too;)

Fear the Axeman!:kickass:

the only album i heard after Divine.. was Diabolus in Musica.. and that album was horrible... I didn't bother buying any others after that one... especially after the negative reviews of the albums after Divine...

Diabolus wasn't really thatt good, I agree and Christ Illusion does sound a bit diffrent from pre-divine but I like it (but do like most metal) but you just have to try it out imo
