RECOMMENDATION: Kaevum - Natur

Kaevum (Norway)

This Norwegian band play a no frills black metal but they just have that quality to them that makes them sound better than a lot of other band's doing the style. Norse riffs abound with well timed melody, quality vocals (varied), and good pacing. There are occasional clean vocals that sporadically pop up here and there and accent things well. If anything, this album is a good reminder of the the enduring quality of this style of black metal.

I once nearly bought a Natur album on impulse. Cant remember exactly which on it was, but listening to this I really regret not getting it. Gonna go see if its still in stock soon, I need something from these dudes in my collection
