Muscaria's definitely the best of a bunch, that one gets pretty epic. I'm certainly gonna give these tracks a few more spins, sounds like this could be a winner if I give it more time to get under my skin.

So "Muscaria" really picks up around halfway through with the galloping riff, and then there's the whole psychotic acoustic section, again sounding very theatrical, and I like the way it ends too. My only criticism is that it took 5 minutes before anything really good happened.
"In the Ravens Eyes" has that same vibe to the first sample, very Arcturus'ish -- probably because of the long drawn out organ/keys behind the riffing -- and a year ago I would have had to put this away, but recently I've been listening to LMI and enjoying it a lot. So darkened proggy BM is back on the menu and this fits the bill.
I like this reco. Not sure if I'll be listening to this sorta thing in the hazy shades of summer, but come fall and I'll probably be all over it.
