This is an amazing release from 2004 that I had not heard of until this year. A combination of metalcore, jazz, lounge singing, a little reggae, with a strange, long conversation in French in track 6. Fans of Sikth, Between the Buried and Me, Unexpect, and their ilk should feel right at home. Anyone who likes something just a little bit different should check this out.

I should have another reco later today (still debating which to do). I don't expect most of you will like this, but I'm hoping at least a few do 'cause it kicks my ass.

not my usual kind of shit, but still a very savoury ear-candy, very well-done. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that some guy from Carnival in Coal is involved in this.

Wouldn't be surprised as this has the same perversely infectious genre-bending on the CIC material I've heard...this has some potentially cringe-worthy moments like the "brothers and sisters" part with the heavy French accent and I wish the vocals were less -core, but the music here is for the most part killer.
