Hi everyone,

I'm in the market for a mobile audio interface costing between £100-200. I need it to have at least 2 mic pre's with phantom power, midi in/out, be bus-powered, a pair of analogue outs and a headphone output.

I'll be using the interface for doing the odd bit of recording on-site....like for example, quick demoing of my acoustic singer/songwriter friends at their own homes or live, tracking a vocal at the vocalists house for a demo when i don't want someone in my house screaming the place down and annoying the neighbours :D and possibly for recording my bands rehearsals really rough (one or two room mics) just so we dont forget ideas we come up with during the session.

The 2 interfaces which I like the look of are the Focusrite Saffire 6 and the EMU-0404 USB. Has anyone got either of these interfaces and can give feedback? Or can anyone recommend any other interfaces?

cheers
Jim
