Hi everyone,
I'm in the market for a mobile audio interface costing between £100-200. I need it to have at least 2 mic pre's with phantom power, midi in/out, be bus-powered, a pair of analogue outs and a headphone output.
I'll be using the interface for doing the odd bit of recording on-site....like for example, quick demoing of my acoustic singer/songwriter friends at their own homes or live, tracking a vocal at the vocalists house for a demo when i don't want someone in my house screaming the place down and annoying the neighbours
and possibly for recording my bands rehearsals really rough (one or two room mics) just so we dont forget ideas we come up with during the session.
The 2 interfaces which I like the look of are the Focusrite Saffire 6 and the EMU-0404 USB. Has anyone got either of these interfaces and can give feedback? Or can anyone recommend any other interfaces?
cheers
Jim
