I have a 6505+ 112, it has the simulated mic output on it to record with,
I also have a toneport gx, I tried running a cable that is xlr on one end and 1/4 inch on the other end, but it doesnt work..

I was wondering if theres a way to get these working together?
Im using reaper as my recording software.

sorry this is kind of vague, im at work about to clock out! thanks!

simulated mic out o_0?? any 6505+ owners know what he's talking about?? long story short bro, if you have a toneport you're probably way better off just using podfarm. i doubt whatever speaker emulation a 6505 may have, if any, is better.

it is the new 112 combo. it has a msdi output on the back.

Microphone Simulated Direct Interface (MSDI), which delivers the sound of a miked guitar cabinet in live performance and studio recording applications.

I can use toneport and podfarm, but i wanted to record some samples of the new 6505+ 112 combo for people since it is failry new and folks are looking for sound clips before buying.
