Recording at home "must have" list

Well guis, I'm facing a problem atm... I'm from Brazil, and here, musical equipment of quality is as expensive as Ferrari's. So, I can't give wrong shots on what I'm doing. I need a nice set to record at home. Already getting an handmade amp here... A Cort Kx Custom in xmass... PW cables... So on, But, I need a mic that its not that expensive, and sounds really great... Here we face the problem of Falsification... False shures run as candy around, for the same price, of course. And I need a good usb thing to record through too... can you guis help me? Thanks! Sorry if there is already some threat like that going around.
