when a song has the refrain/chorus 2-3 times do you just record the refrain/cleanvocals/chorus one time and copy and paste the vocals to the 1-2 other parts of the song where the chorus/refrain is used to be/will be repeated or do you record every single refrain/chorus ?

i hope you can understand what i mean

my english sucks so hard

when tracking vocals, record 6-10 takes of everything... that way you will have plenty to choose from.

i too, try and get as many takes as i can off someone as insurance. but it sucks when someone needs 30 tries per line just to get it once!

i don't see any point of recording a chorus multiple times if it's meant to be the exact same every time. you achieve the same thing in a fraction of the time by cut pasting. only do it multiple times if there is a need to ie. slightly different melody or phrasing.
