Screams or Clean Vox First?

Say you have a song with screams in the verses and cleans in the chorus, which one do you guys usually record first and why?

I think that if it's just one vocalist doing everything do what Trivium did in 'Shogun', and probably countless other bands; Clean first and then guttural / screaming type stuff.
If you did screaming first and then your clean, they would be sound all whisky-ed up, rough. If your vocalist has a good technique it won't affect the clean too much though.

I agree, if its the same vocalist, then no need to get the vocals all scuffed up!
