funny, I'm movin more and more to smaller rooms for metaldrums, my new booth is like 4.5m*2.8m*2.6m so quite small. a small room has to be acoustically optimized though (even more improtant than for a big room) to control standing waves and reverbtime etc.

I'd say my live-room is about as big as your's but I prefer the booth for drums (metal!).

the only issue I have with such a small room is that it's hard to place the micstands on bigger kits, I'd say your room has got the perfect size.

a good sounding room is a good sounding room, no matter if small or big.....
so get is sounding good and don't worry about the size
