Recording Programs

Cool Edit Pro just isn't cutting it anymore. What are some better programs?

I've been using Cubase SX 3, it's very versatile with great plugins and instruments which come with very usable presets. I'm using it to mix the next Farmakon album, along with UAD project pack. Check it out here: http://www.steinberg.net/35_1.html

i use logic but its mac only. cubase sx3 is a good alternative if you only have a pc. the legend ep was recorded and mixed on my g5 using logic pro 7.
