Recording Question

Depends on several things:

Soundcard, Recording software, method of recording (USB/Line)

Tell me your setup and i'll get ya sorted.

Right, dunno audacity (read: don't use it) but my advice is see windows sound mixer, check that "mic" or "Line" (which ever you use) are up high. This should act as a low latency monitoring. You can (read: Should) be able to set up asio monitoring in Audacity though don't ask me how.

My other advice would be headphones from the korg.

i wouldn't recommend asio monitoring, it will have such horrible latency. i would recommend double clicking on your little volume icon in the start menu and unmuting your line in or mic in whatever you are using, it'll play it through the speakers then...

That was my first port of call.

My asio monitoring is at 16ms which is usable...

But hey, i have zero latency direct monitoring on my interface, so aye.

I used 3 hours trying to record from tape to cd, but it didn't work at all. Couldn't hear any sound from anywhere. I'm really pissed off because of that.
