Some sort of single coil pickup or I`m wrong?

Bridge H + S in the first part, next neck H, and middle single coil only used on the strums at the end. That're passives. These pickups are sort of the most bright series sounding.

For the bass there were active hams in the middle position.

There were very old strings on both instruments especially on bass.

Guys I have a direct question to those who had real experience with re-amping.

Are DIs especially of guitar should be more bassy or more bright? Because I can't judge by myself what's closer to the sound that's originally streaming right from the guitar output.

The essence is to get original tone without additional bass or brightness in it. In guitars we use DI only for re-amping and then in the end use only re-amped signal in mix. So it doesn't matter how we like DIs. The matter is 'Is it orignal signal of the guitar or modified.

If you want to get heavy sound, better to use bridge humbucker alone. Addition of single coil will lower your signal and leads to scratchy sound.
I just don`t know what sound you are after...

C'mon guys! What do you choose?

A B C ??
X Y Z ??

I don't play extra heavy, overloaded and fast music. So there's no need for guitar to struggle through mix.

Thank you only three men that have voted. Fuck yeah!

A & X — direct in Focusrite

Focusrite instrument in is the worst one. Sounds more plastic, really muffled and more noisy comparing to DI-Boxes.

B & Y — Countryman Type 85 to Focusrite

Guitar DI sounds a way better than Redeye on the first glance because Countryman has more lows. But indeed this bass part tone is a result of the clang that big impedance creates destroying real guitar sound. Also this DI has roll off on highs. Lows are little muffled.

C & Z — Little Labs Redeye 3D Phantom to Focusrite

Redeye doesn't lose highs from the original guitar tone. It has a roll off on lows and tighter low mids. Seems this is the winner.

Yesterday I have got my balanced cables and made re-amp of these DIs. Focusrite is the worst one again.

Who's interested take a listen to others and compare them to the original guitar output tone.

Then I'm afraid I can't help you. Listening to your DIs I get the impression that this may be the wrong forum for your type of music.

That's OK. So you can see above I've already made re-amp myself.

And the thread is not about music type. That's about getting original DIs from guitar.
