Rediscovery part 1

I hear ya dude. It's an awesome piece.

But let's face it, you just made a bunch of heads fall on keyboards into deep cosmic sleep.

Man, I love this song! It was actually the first Symphony X song I ever learned on guitar. I even re-setup my tremolo bridge just for the tuning. Pt 2 is one of their best as well.

I think I'm going to listen to it now.

You know what I just realized? Well, not just now, but when I saw that thread about people who still listen to SX. You are a bunch of wankers. So, I think I won't waste any more time here.

Don't go; we need more people like you.

I had the same reaction a while back. It's strange that on the band's forum, which should be the most appropriate place to engage with the music and ask all sorts of nerdy questions, there are so many apathetic wankers who just want to troll threads. But I came back to try anyway.

Seriously guys, I don't even know why most of you are here.

I know many of you are veterans here, but just because you have a high post count and a history on these forums does not give you the right to crap on other people's enthusiasm for the band. There are enough people in the real world who roll their eyes at those of us that are enthusiastic about this kind of music. This place should be better than that. You are not just trolling the posters; you are trolling the band. So drop the freakin' attitude or don't post.

Really, Rediscovery part 1 is a damn cool little piece, but there's not really much to say about it, cause it's really just a transition to the part 2, which is the real song. The guitar playing is very tasty anyway.

Talking about Rediscovery, the second part is quite good too, but I don't feel like it's great throughout. There's some really cool parts, but I think that for half the time something's lacking. V was never my favourite Symphony X album anyway...

We're fine.

Some people are too fragile these days.

Pfft, there's only so much that can be discussed about a band and their songs. I mean, what the hell did the original poster hope to achieve with this thread?

"I like Rediscovery part 1"

"Yeah me too"

"Yeah and me"

"Me three" etc etc.

Even if a miracle occurred and it somehow became and interesting discussion, a single song definitely doesn't merit it's own thread.

And Marwen certainly has a point, some people seriously need to grow some balls.
