first off, ive heard a few covers of 'take on me' most of them punk/ska though. ive heard a ska cover of hungry like the wolf too. not that great, but i dont like newschool ska anyways.

simply red sounds familiar, but i was a kid in the 80s so i cant remember heh, but i have a pretty nice 80s subdirectory in my mp3 directory.

thats cool i was just thinking how much i love hammering old pop tunes with aggression. a lot of the "80's" shit really lends itself to a good hard metal beating. if i were the fcc the only pop music allowable would be songs covered by mtl bands.
