Remix Competition - Not Metal Warning

I actually turned down a gig mixing for PG. It was a couple of months after 9/11 and I was too scared to travel overseas. Plus, his (ex) manager told me some crazy stories about this guy and his rowboat. Too cooky for me.

I'm thinking about entering this competition though. A free Duende would be the shit, especially since I've decided to purchase one anyway. Been hearing good stuff about the Waves SSL plugs, but I can't imagine the SSL version not being even better.

Honestly though, you'd think that the prize for this competition would be more than a $1500 plugin box...

I just realized all the tracks are not full length. How in the hell do you compile them all??

I will check the forum.

It seems they just want you to go crazy with it and see what you can come up with..

Most of the remixes submitted that I listened to sound totally different from one another..

hmmm..

yep, putting the tracks at the designated places is going to be a little tedious - i intend on doing that, cos i'm thinking of making a replica of the original song for starters

and yea, some the mixes over there sound like they're from another planet, i wouldn't know where to begin with such an approach

btw, i'm a big gabriel/genesis fan... a genesis song would've been out of this world
