So we've used a Roland SPD-S for years for backing tracks etc.
Long story short - the screen got wet and now displays nothing.
We need something to replace it. Preferably not another SPD-S because they are expensive and we don't have a whole lot of dough. Discussed getting it repaired, but have no clue where to take it. So, we're searching for something else.
Something with multiple pads the drummer can hit mid song to trigger samples.
Any ideas? I really have no idea what is out there these days and if it was up to me, I'd ditch the samples all together.
