The Portland, OR station www.kufo.com/ (radio) is having this "request" weekend.
People phone in shell out some money that will be donated to charity &
they play your request. Yes, even if it doesn't meet their current format.
So what's repulsive? Here you go, I was listening while I ran an errand.
As I was listening they were playing all sorts of old school stuff. After the break they came back. As they were doing their intro to their next batch of requests, they mentioned "that the next request came from a guy that paid extra for this buttrock request. Well, at least it's a cover of a Black Sabbath song. This is "symptom of the universe" covered by Sepultura." Correct me if I'm wrong, but Sepultura was NEVER a "hair band", unless I was in a completely different universe. I can't believe these assholes at this radio station. One they don't know Metal, two they think that ANYTHING before GRUNDGE was "Buttrock" or "hair metal."
