This was discussed some time back, but I just gotta say, I got this recently and it is top notch. I'm a huge Maiden fan (since 82 or so), and this is just the kind of thing I would have killed for back in the day. The Beast On The Road footage is especially cool. That's probably my favorite Maiden era (well, one of 'em) and when Beast Over Hammersmith came out in Eddie's Archive I was pleased as hell. Bruce's voice was in awesome form. To see footage from the same show was a treat. All the stuff on there is great, including the documentary. I can't wait for the next installment. One of the cooler releases, all around, this year.

It is the best music DVD ever - afer the amazing Zeppeling set.

My fav Maiden "eras" are the "World Piece Tour" and the 1986-87 "Somewhere on Tour".
This DVD, of course, has footage from the 83 tour. And it's amazing!

I cant wait for the 2nd installment.....seeing footage from that SIT 1986-87 tour will be a dream come true!!

I wonder, however, what they'll do with the DVD featuring Blaze. Will they actually release him butchering any of the Dickinson era tunes?
(the X is a great record, but he was dreadful singing some of the older, classic Bruce tunes).

Ditto on the Zeppelin DVD. I had a huge Zeppelin phase, and never really grew out of it. Anyway, I just figured out how to burn the audio from the DVDs onto discs so I can listen to it in the car etc. The show from the Royal Albert Hall is, by my estimation, just amazing. Robert's voice is spot on. Also, the Earl's Court accoustic stuff. Hell, it's all fantastic. I have watched the DVD many times since it came out.
