When I saw that link I was excited but then I listened. I was hoping for someone who wasn't very good because that's about the level I'm at. But if you have any interest...

Stuff on there is old and has been largely rewritten. I recently got a Line 6 UX2 and hope to get some new recordings up sometime soon.
I was hoping for a drummer who was mediocre so I wouldn't feel embarrassed with my material. Ideally, though, I would find musicians much more skilled than myself and that would inspire me to improve myself. So your hoping for a drummer that is not very good? Thats sorta baffling, but I have yet to hear the winterfell tracks as I have to wait till I get home to hear audio.
I'll check it out and I'll let ya know if I am interested.
That song on the desolate page is just a rehearsal from about 2 years ago. We are hoping to get some more stuff up soon with vocals as we have a ton of more material then about 2 years ago.
I just got a recording interface for Christmas. But, I still ran it through my amp, instead of using the amp model in the interface. Also, it has a mic port.@mutantllama: get you one of these:

Sexy. Includes amp modeling software that gives you a wide range of actually pretty good tones, direct input recording as well as mic inputs (although it doesn't come with mics) if you want to record acoustically, and live lite, which includes drum programming. The sounds are meh but the tool is pretty powerful and easy to use.
Line 6 amps are trash tbh, but their recording gear is solid.
