When I saw that link I was excited but then I listened. I was hoping for someone who wasn't very good because that's about the level I'm at. But if you have any interest...

Stuff on there is old and has been largely rewritten. I recently got a Line 6 UX2 and hope to get some new recordings up sometime soon.

So your hoping for a drummer that is not very good? Thats sorta baffling, but I have yet to hear the winterfell tracks as I have to wait till I get home to hear audio.

I'll check it out and I'll let ya know if I am interested.

That song on the desolate page is just a rehearsal from about 2 years ago. We are hoping to get some more stuff up soon with vocals as we have a ton of more material then about 2 years ago.

I was hoping for a drummer who was mediocre so I wouldn't feel embarrassed with my material. Ideally, though, I would find musicians much more skilled than myself and that would inspire me to improve myself.

I have a track I recorded the other day with some programmed drums and will try to upload it in a minute.

@mutantllama: get you one of these:

Sexy. Includes amp modeling software that gives you a wide range of actually pretty good tones, direct input recording as well as mic inputs (although it doesn't come with mics) if you want to record acoustically, and live lite, which includes drum programming. The sounds are meh but the tool is pretty powerful and easy to use.

Guitar scratch track has some mistakes and is slightly out of time but was enough to program the drums to so...
No vocals yet.

I just got a recording interface for Christmas. But, I still ran it through my amp, instead of using the amp model in the interface. Also, it has a mic port.

Actually, the amp I was using was a Line 6 amp. But the 100 cheap model.

here's a riff that i've had for a while but haven't had the opportunity to use it

E------------------------------------------------------------------------
B-------------------------------------------------------------------------
G ------------------------------------------------------------------------
D ------------------------------------------------------------------------
A -555444----333--------222----555444----333---------222-----------------
E --------555-----444222----33---------555----444222------33-------------

palm mute all of the notes that are on the E string

maybe you'll find somewhere to use it

So since the last update I have 2 songs written and 2 other songs about 75 percent complete. Decided to scrap together some other songs I had laying around.

Sounding pretty killer so far. The 2 newest songs are a bit in the Katatonia, Xasthur, Sunn-O, Newer Celtic Frost, Opeth, Void of Silence Vein.
Its pretty fucking droneish, which I didn't really intend on, but it is turning out to be pretty amazing to even my suprise.

I am particuliarly looking for assistance with some keyboards. Keyboard in the realm of the first 2 Sigh albums (very sombre and classical sounding).

Anyone willing to contribute to some keyboards? If so let me know.
