RIP Dime

I think it's appropriate enough, especially considering the silly threads that pop up here once in a while.

Dime continues to inspire me and virtually everyone I know.

I think some people should post Pantera clips. Anyone out there with a Krank or Randall wanna give it a shot?

On December 8th, 2004...I was enjoying Slayer, Mastodon, and Killswitch Engage over in Billings, MT. It was my 4th time seeing Slayer, and I think it was the best I've ever heard/seen/anything of them. After getting out of the show...my friend at the show called and said the singer from Hemlock (who also played) just got a phone call saying that Dime was dead. "Thats some bullshit" I said..."That isn't possible, thats a sick ass joke if anything". Little did I know, it was true. I didn't find out for real until the next day. I felt fucking stupid. It took a couple of hours (on the 3 hour drive home) for it to hit me for real.

Cheers to ya, Dime! We miss you!

Yes, yes and yes but this is Dime's memorial thread since it has been a year now.

These were the people whose lives were also taken that night.

Rest in peace, Dime. He's alwais been up there in my top 3 guitarist list. And I also felt he was an amazing person form what I could tell from the interviews and such. I had tears in my eyes the day he passed away, while listening to his music. This has been such a great loss to music most people can't even beguin to understand.
